Effect of Martensitic Transformation and Grain Misorientation on Surface Roughening Behavior of Stainless Steel Thin Foils

چکیده

The surface roughening (Ra), martensitic phase transformation (MPT), and grain misorientation (GMO) behavior of stainless steel 304 316 in various sizes (Dg) were studied experimentally, including five cycles sequential uniaxial tensile stress testing Scanning Electron Microscope-Electron Back Scattered Diffraction (SEM-EBSD) investigation. MPT GMO characteristics sequentially investigated using SEM-EBSD analysis. correlation between MPT, GMO, volume fraction (Mf), Ra investigated. experimental results showed that increasing the total strain from 5.0% to 25.0% increased Mf, which transformed metastable austenitic (SUS) 304. for all kinds Dg. Furthermore, SUS used compare mechanism. was very high spread uniformly fine thin foil, but low not uniform coarse foil.
